Hi there,

In 2693 I found that to rescan a folder, I need to select the "Rescan folders..." option twice in order for Daminion to scan the folder.

I use the manual rescan on folders (I have no automatic scan enabled).

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Right clic on a folder and select "Rescan folders..."
  2. Select "Rescan (F6)..."

     3. It quickly shows the last (previously) imported files and finishes the import process, no new files are imported
     4. Right clic on the same folder as step 1 and select "Rescan folders..."
     5. Select "Rescan (F6)..."
     6. Now it import the new files and after a while, it shows the list of imported files

Has anyone seen this behavior?

Thanks!

Regards

Hi Daria, everybody, just to confirm this still happens in 2784.

What I did:

1) added new files in folder A
2) right click -> rescan
3) the process finished and showed the previously imported files
4) right click -> rescan
5) it imported and showed the new files from folder A
6) added new files in the same folder A
7) right click -> rescan
8 ) the process finished and showed the imported files of step 5 <- repeated steps 7 and 8 for 3 times, same result
9) added files to a different folder (folder B)
10) on folder B, right click -> rescan
11) right click -> rescan
12) the process finished and showed the imported files of step 5
13) on folder B, right click -> rescan
14) it imported and showed the new files from folder B
15) on folder A, right click -> rescan
16) the process finished and showed the imported files of step 14
17) on folder A, right click -> rescan
18) it imported and showed the new files from folder A (added in step 6)

I have had no crashes, though. Thanks!
