  1. Hi there, I just updated to 2225 and noticed color labels in the tag panel changed order. By reviewing, it seems to me queries are no longer using the sortorder column from the colorlabel_table. Instead, they appear to be sorted using the helpervalue column. Is it feasible to change it back? I initially used the sortorder to show the color labels in a way that made sense with the labels I gave to the colors. Now they appear scramble to me. Attaching a screenshot of how they appear to me. BTW, kudos on the update! 🙂 I updated also to PostgreSQL 11 and got a noticeable improvement in p
  2. Thanks for following up Daria, Yes, the xmp file is created/updated, even when not doing it manually (i.e. when changing values from the properties panel). I haven't noticed missing information in the xmp files so I'm not sure if it has an impact or it's just the message in the error log. About the folder not being remembered issue, it happens only in one computer, it started happening after reinstalling (uninstall-install) the Daminion client. If I open the Daminion client in the server it does remember the last folder I was browsing when closed. I was wondering if those settings ar
  3. Hi Daria, thanks for your response, I actually have the option "Add video format support" enabled: One strange thing, not sure if it may be affecting is if I see the preferences in the client, I see the option unchecked (it is disabled as I understand those are server side settings), could it be it?: From my log files, it seems it started happening after upgrading to Daminion 6.4.0.2095 and keeps happening in 2099. One other thing I'm having is Daminion client keeps showing all files when opening, it doesn't seem to remember the last folder I
  4. Hi, I'm reviewing some errors I'm having in Daminion and found in the errors.txt file there are a lot of entries with message "File didn't updated", it seems it started happening on Daminion 6, quite not sure. Any ideas? 2020-04-16 14:24:32,753 [STP SmartThreadPool Thread #2] ERROR PicaJet.Daminion.Service.Utils.SynchronizeMediaItemCommand [(null)] - mediaItemId: 1517700 filePath: '\\htpc\share\Filename.ts' exception: PicaJet.Daminion.Common.PicaJetException: Message: File didn't updated Thanks! 5. Hi, It seems build 1755 keeps trying to update to database version 51 everytime the server is started. I'm attaching two error logs, each one after a server restart. I'm not sure how it affects or if it affects at all as I've been using build 1755 for some time and didn't notice this before. I noticed it while trying to upgrade to build 1763 and restoring 1755 (as 1763 seems to have an issue). Thanks! log_start_1.txt log_start_2.txt
  6. Hi there, Same here, error log shows: 2018-03-04 14:24:25,674 [19] ERROR PicaJet.Daminion.Service.Utils.GetMediaItemDataCommand [(null)] - Error: (133) - 1957838 Npgsql.NpgsqlException: missing FROM-clause entry for table "files" Severity: ERROR Code: 42P01 at Npgsql.NpgsqlState.<ProcessBackendResponses>d__0.MoveNext() in c:\dev\TeamCity\buildAgent\work\45caad201a245970\Npgsql\Npgsql\NpgsqlState.BackendResponse.cs:line 310 at Npgsql.ForwardsOnlyDataReader.GetNextResponseObject(Boolean cleanup) in c:\dev\TeamCity\buildAgent\work\45caad201a245970\Npgsql\Npgsql\NpgsqlDataRead
  7. Hi there, I'm not sure what changed in build 1660, but tagging speed (and in general database queries speed) are now really really fast. It has a great impact in most actions (tagging, searches, displaying thumbnails, etc.) Great job Daminion team! Thanks!
  8. Hi Robert, With a database with more than 1.5 million files Daminion Server/Client behaves pretty good. I personally recommend having separate drives (preferably solid state drives) for the database files and the thumbnail files (having your media in a different drive helps too). Regards
  9. Hi there, I finally got to upgrade to Daminion 4.5 :) At first, I got the following error after enabling Web Access: In case somebody else get this error I thought I'd share the details. It happens when using a 64-bit system and the IIS Application Pool is not enabled to run 32-bit applications. Below is a small article with more details on how to fix it: http://www.cafe-encounter.net/p379/asp-net-iis7-system-badimageformatexception-could-not-load-file-or-assembly#gsc.tab=0 Hope it helps. 10. +1 on this I think it has been asked for before but I couldn't find the post. Personally I've needed this kind of "complement search" for doing queries like: all files without N category. Regards
  11. Hi, NOTE: This happens since older builds, actually, since I remember... (not specific to this version). - Assume you have the Event tag shown collapsed in the Catalog Tags panel - You toggle it to be expanded - Do something with an Event (select it, delete, add a new one, I think it doesn't have an impact on this) - You toggle the Event tag back to collapsed - You select an item in the main panel and edit it's properties to assign a non-existing Event, let's say "New Event" and save changes to the item After hitting save, Daminion seems to update the Event tag collection and r
