Hello, try to select the desired sorting and close the catalog via File>Close Catalog. The thing is that we save the settings either at logout or by closing the catalog. If you just close the application, the settings will not be saved. Users of the lite version do not have a logout button, so there may be problems with saving.

Same here, that worked. But please Daria, why can't this be solved in a more user-friendly way ?

Hi Daria,

thank you for your reply. The workaround you suggested isn't working properly. Once I managed to set the sort order to "Filename" it will always be on "Filename" after a restart of the application. Sometimes you change the sort order and forget to logout from the catalog in order to save the setting and the chosen sort order is gone. This is not very user friendly.

I can't understand why it is so difficult (or seemingly impossible) to remember such a setting. You have to consider that this issue is now more than 7 years old!

Best regards,
Volker
