[2427-2451] TIFF files without thumbnail

Hello,

on the new server I'm rebuilding the thumbnails, however on the new machine the tif files don'T show a thumbnail, when recreating nothing happens

Please try to install build 2490 and update the thumbnails. Please don't forget to create backups of the catalogs prior to the update

I realised a few tif files were shown! I think it's a lack of the thumbnail update feature of Daminion it should do such things in the background

Hi Rene, 

 

Unfortunately, it cannot be done on the background automatically because the thumbnail update process is pretty resource-consuming especially for multiple files, and especially when the files are large TIFs or PSDs. It would have taken lots of server resources to run it on the background without the consent of the end users  and would eventually result in a bad user experience. 

 

Please select your TIF files and try to run the thumbnails update manually via Ctrl+B
