rene
would it make sense to install a camera codec pack on the server? Which one to choose for Windows Server 2019?

Daria Kotilainen
Hi Rene, Please try to install build 2490 and update the thumbnails. Please don't forget to create backups of the catalogs prior to the update Daria

rene
I realised a few tif files were shown! I think it's a lack of the thumbnail update feature of Daminion it should do such things in the background
Daria Kotilainen
Hi Rene, Unfortunately, it cannot be done on the background automatically because the thumbnail update process is pretty resource-consuming especially for multiple files, and especially when the files are large TIFs or PSDs. It would have taken lots of server resources to run it on the background without the consent of the end users and would eventually result in a bad user experience. Please select your TIF files and try to run the thumbnails update manually via Ctrl+B Kind regards, Daria
