moving to a new Server

Hello,

how can I move a Daminion Server catogue to a new Server?

1, Install Daminion Server on new machine

2, make a backup on old server

3, copy the backup?

copy the backup to the new hardware, install Daminion Server -> Admin Panel -> Catalogs -> Restore

I'm not sure if you have to create a catalog of the same name first + settings for upoad folder etc and then the restore or if you can skip this step. I made it some time ago and can't remember each action BUT at the end it works!

How can I move the database from one computer to another and not lose all the links to the photos?

The link that was mentioned above, goes to a 404 page not found.
