Volker Posted March 18, 2013 Author Report Posted March 18, 2013 I found out, that I have two Country-tags in the catalog (see screenshot) and the issue only occurs with 'Wiehl'. Quote
Murat Posted March 19, 2013 Report Posted March 19, 2013 Could you please send me your catalog for analyzing to support at daminion.net? Quote

Volker Posted March 23, 2013 Author Report Posted March 23, 2013 Hi Murat, do you already have any idea what the problem might be? Regards, Volker Quote
Murat Posted March 26, 2013 Report Posted March 26, 2013 Volker, could you please update to 757 build. Quote
Volker Posted March 26, 2013 Author Report Posted March 26, 2013 Hi Murat, I am on 757, but the behaviour did not change. Regards, Volker Quote
Volker Posted March 27, 2013 Author Report Posted March 27, 2013 760: problem still exists. Regards, Volker Quote
Murat Posted March 28, 2013 Report Posted March 28, 2013 The problem with duplicate "[Country]" can't be fixed with new version updating because there is a Tag named "[Country]" in your database. Could you please: 1. Update to 761 version 2. Remove the second "[Country]" tag manually. 3. Try to reproduce a case when this tag might appears again (of course without adding it manually :) Quote
Volker Posted March 28, 2013 Author Report Posted March 28, 2013 Hi Murat, after upgrading to 761 I deleted the second [Country] as suggested and everything seemed to be fine. But when I try to "Add Tag Inside 'Deutschland'" the second [Country] reappears and the new tag (in my case 'Düsseldorf') is under this second [Country]. Regards, Volker Quote
Murat Posted March 30, 2013 Report Posted March 30, 2013 after upgrading to 761 I deleted the second [Country] as suggested and everything seemed to be fine. But when I try to "Add Tag Inside 'Deutschland'" the second [Country] reappears and the new tag (in my case 'Düsseldorf') is under this second [Country]. Can you please record a short video for me? Volker Posted June 21, 2013 Author Report Posted June 21, 2013 Hi Murat, any news on this issue? Regards, Volker Quote
Volker Posted July 4, 2013 Author Report Posted July 4, 2013 Hello Murat, I am now on build 844 and the issue is still the same. Any ideas? Regards, Volker Quote
Murat Posted July 5, 2013 Report Posted July 5, 2013 Could you please send me a fresh version of your catalog? BTW why did you add Deutschland as a state? Quote
Murat Posted July 5, 2013 Report Posted July 5, 2013 Thanks for sending us your catalog! Unfortunately I can't reproduce an issue neither with strange Country symbols (according to your initial post) no with duplicate Country tag. Yes, the duplicate [Country] values was existed in your catalog, but after its removal, I can't reproduce a problem when it could appear again. Quote
Volker Posted July 5, 2013 Author Report Posted July 5, 2013 I made another video showing this behaviour and stored it under www.siebelink.de/daminion/place2.avi . In this example I add 'Test Town' under 'Deutschland', whichresults in a second entry for 'Deutschland'. Rather interesting: when I now delete 'Test Town' and the second entry for 'Deutschland' and make another try to add the town the behaviour is as expected. My impression is, that this only happens after just starting Daminion. Regards, Volker Quote
Volker Posted July 21, 2013 Author Report Posted July 21, 2013 With build 860 the behaviour is still unchanged. Regards, Volker Quote
Volker Posted July 29, 2013 Author Report Posted July 29, 2013 Also with build 870 the described error occurs. Regards, Volker Quote
Volker Posted August 10, 2013 Author Report Posted August 10, 2013 Build 875: error still exists. Is there any workaround to add a new place in the correct position? Volker Quote
Volker Posted August 13, 2013 Author Report Posted August 13, 2013 With build 875 I now created a new catalog and imported all my pictures. Then after creation a new tag under 'Deutschland' I again have two trees named 'Country'. Is there any chance to get a response on this issue? Regards, Volker Quote
