All possible faces are offered, just not the ones from the selected folder. Then I select the filter folder within FR. None of the people in the photos in the folder are analyzed. I had thought that I would select a folder and then FR would analyze only that folder. What am I doing wrong here? Regardless, I have the impression that the same photos are offered to me again and again for assignment, although I had already assigned a person once. I.e. there is no end of the analysis in sight. Daria Kotilainen Posted March 14, 2023 Report Share Posted March 14, 2023 Hi Uwe, This is not how the filtering works... You need to call FR, then filter down by folders. Daminion does analyze all files, there is no way to limit the analyses to only one folder, but you can filter by folders to work with the faces recognized within it, then go to the next folder etc. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

FR has to scan the total stock, which takes a seemingly infinite amount of time, and then use the filters. I expected to import for example all new photos to the upload folder, this folder is analyzed by FR, I assign the people and then copy the photos tagged with all tags to their storage folder. To summarize: The way the new filtering for face recognition works, means I would need to analyze 200,000 images to find hundred or less new faces? Ridiculous!
