[1576] - Folder Rescanning not working

Hello,

just ran into another new problem.

 

I placed images in a folder that was prior created inside daminion. After several hours of waiting for rescan, the images are still not imported.

 

 

any suggestions?

 

The images are stored on a local drive.

Hi Rene,

 

Did you switch Auto-rescan on in Catalog> Auto-Rescan Settings?

 

Just tested it and it worked perfectly.

After several hours of waiting for rescan, the images are still not imported.

Depending on how many items have to be imported, it can indeed take several hours. When you right click the icon on the lower left of the thumbnail window, you may select to see a log, which indicates which items are processed or ignored.

Another thought: What folder was selected, when you choose "rescan"? Possibly many more folders are scanned as expected ...?
