We have two companies in our group and I want to provide separate Catlogs from the server, they need to be managed separately, and will have no common users. Apart from building a 2nd server is there anyway to do this?

I guess you would need two licenses in order to have two different server versions running.

Hello,

today you need a second licence for the second server.

But let's wait for the server solution that can handle more than one shared catalog. Maybe there is an advanced user management to assign user to a certain catalog. In this case one doesn't need a second server.

Independend from the technical solutions, this is a commercial question and can only be answered by Daminion - maybe individually and not in the forum.

In the meantime another server and a commercial conversation, while waiting for a Daminion update.

Two companies should obtain two separate Daminion Team Server licenses.

 

Handling multiple shared catalogs is another question: we are working on this task now.

 

But before releasing a final solution, we'll offer a workaround solution. We are currently testing it now with several of our customers.
