Volker
After importing images the 'camera lens' shows an incorrect type. I searched through my images and assume that this feature had been introduced with build 819. Volker

Uwe
Hello, as far as I understand the priority to read the tags it should be this one as described in the document: 1. XMP:AUX:Lens, 2. EXIF:MakerNote:Lens, 3. EXIF:Lens Is there an old release, an error in the documentation or am I wrong? I can't find the tag EXIF:MakerNote:Lens. In may case (DNG-file) it should be read from EXIF:AUX:Lens. No problems so far - tested with 825 build. Regards, Uwe
Volker
Hi Uwe, did you do an import with 825? I have this issue when importing with the current version. Images imported with an earlier version show the correct lens values. Regards, Volker
Uwe
Hi Volker, just imported into a shared and a local catalog a DNG and JPG. No problem with 825 build. Regards, Uwe
Russell
Some of my images come up with f/1.0. Wish I owned some of those lenses... but I don't. :-) Russell

Uwe
Hello, I scanned my shared catalog and found 3 JPG items with camera lens tag: "-7-2mm f/3.5-5.6". All photos where taken by a Nikon D5000 and the Exif:MakerNotes:Lens = 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6. But, and this is maybe important, there are also 3 DNG items in the catalog with the same Creation DateTime made by a Canon 5D, Lens = 70-200mm. Is it possible that the trouble comes from these 3 pairs of items with the same time stamp? The pattern of the focal length point to this assumption. Murat
This issue should be fixed in the 826 build

Murat
I just upgraded to build 826 - the behaviour did not change. I see the following info using the 826 build with your images: Could you please select these images again and invoke "Item > Actions > Read Tags from File" command to re-read metadata from images. Murat
My lenses are all L Series Canon. :-) Did you send me a sample image where the lens info is displayed incorrectly? I've checked my inboxes but did find nothing.
