Hi,

This has been several times discussed but still do not understand why it is not possible to have a thumbnail display same as Windows live photo gallery.

Here it is (Windows live) :

And Daminion :

or

This is a display feature which will be awsome when it will be possible into Daminion to manage folders (like a win explorer) and drag and drop thumbnail in it. (like a win explorer)

Edit : Would be nice to have a thumbnail display with only user's customize display caption.

We plan to add some changes into "Customize Thumbnail Captions..." option:

Variant #1:

1. An option to change MediaFormat tag above thumbnails to another tag

2. An ability to select which part of the thumbnail area will be hidden after pressing "i" button.

Variant #2:

- Basic Info (Media Formatm Color Label, Rating, Flag) can be switched on/off by the first button with "-" icon

- Captions below thumbnails can be swtiched on/off by the second button with "=" icon

Any thoughts?

I would prefer Variant#2, it is more direct (faster, less clics,...) to swap beetween all display modes. (Basic info / Caption)
