3010 - Action: Show all metadata, German Umlaute ä, ö, ü

Hello,

the action "show all metadata" has problems with "German Umlaute" in the file name/path. The folder name is "1989 Kölpinsee".

the codepage of my W11 system is 850

I'm afraid, the problem is with ExifTool which powers the metadata display, not this specific option in Daminion

Hi Daria,

I guess, it's a problem how the Exiftool is called. If I use the command "-charset filename=latin" in the self defined "open with" actions, I doen't have this problem.

@Oleg.Rossplease discuss with the team if we can call ExifTool in the way Uwe described to be able to display metadata for the files with umlaut in file and folder names.
