Renaming and Importing a File

I think this is a marginal case, but FYI.

By mistake I had overwritten a file, and I wanted to reimport it. I renamed the file in the client, and then tried to import the original file with the original name into the catalog. In the import I got an error stating that the file already exists. When I stopped and started the server, I could import the file.

Where are your files stored? are they on a NAS? 

 

I'm afraid, I cannot reproduce the issue.
