Hi Stephen, 

 

Not sure I get what is wrong with this sort order... The first character is the same for this three images, then the second is compared and goes as C, then E, then 0. You can change it from ascending to descending.

Thank you for your replies but here is a further example. Selected 21 images, sorted by Filename and this was the order. To make sure I was expecting the order as numbers then letters I checked to make sure that ASCII order is that i.e. by numbers then letters

Thank you Stephen! I have discussed this with my colleagues: Daminion uses natural sorting in the filenames and therefore the files are displayed in this way in your case - because of the selected naming scheme which is a hexadecimal numbers.
