HEIC files

Is Daminion suppose to write metadata directly to Apple HEIC files or does it use *.xmp files?

I have some HEIC files and the metadata data is not being written directly to the files nor are XMP files being created.

Hi Frank, 

 

Daminion does not write metadata to HEIC files.

Please create backups and/or export tags to a CSV file periodically to have a backup of the tags assigned to this file format
