Daria Kotilainen Posted February 16, 2022 Report Posted February 16, 2022 Hi Uwe, clarifying with QA team, but I believe it is not resolved yet Daria Quote
Oleg.Ross Posted February 18, 2022 Report Posted February 18, 2022 Hello Uwe. Problem that you described above is not a bug. According EXIF Specification and XMP Specification when a user creates authors tags in daminion, metadata writes in field EXIF: Artist and XMP: Creator. We don't use Windows XP Tags Scheme. From Exif tools: 0x9c9d XPAuthor int8u IFD0 (ignored by Windows Explorer if Artist exists) From EXIF Spec: Artist This tag records the name of the camera owner, photographer or image creator. The detailed format is not specified, but it is recommended that the information be written as in the example below for ease of Interoperability. When the field is left blank, it is treated as unknown. From XMP Spec: Artist This tag records the name of the camera owner, photographer or image creator. Uwe Posted February 21, 2022 Author Report Posted February 21, 2022 Hello, does it mean: Daminion doesn't manage the EXIF:XPAuthor tag? If yes, then: please change the daminion-metadata-mapping-rules.pdfofficial document of the mapping rules. If no: it's a bug. Regardds, Uwe Quote
Daria Kotilainen Posted February 21, 2022 Report Posted February 21, 2022 Hello Uwe, we will change the document. Daria Quote
