lorenz
Hello, I've activated face recognition for a catalog with around 100.000 images. I'm impressed about how accurate it is! However, when I click the icon with the face, it asks me, for instance: "Is this Peter Something?" I say "yes" and go to the next question until there are no new questions. But whenever I click on "Load more" or close the window and open it again the same persons come up and I'm asked again "Is this Peter Something?". So it seems, that my answers are not saved!? And I can't reach newly discovered faces as the old ones come up again and again. Is there a solution for this? All the best Lorenz
Daria Kotilainen
Hi Lorenz, This is a known issue - we have registered it and it will be fixed soon. Apologies for the inconvenience! Kind regards, Daria

aebe_ch
Has this been fixed ? I still have that issue, showed up right at the first version of face recognition (which detects faces really well!), and still persists for me. How can I reset/clear/restart face recognition process, hoping that will fix it ? I found a database query in this forum to clear all relevant postgres data, but that query is marked as deprecated. Any advise ?

aebe_ch
Hello Daria. Thank you for your answer, and apologies for my late reply. I have noticed improvements in the past, when I tried Face Recognition again. It seems to work better, at least the list is getting shorter when assigning names to the list of photos. Daminion is 10.0.0 (Build 3652) / FR is 2.0.0.924 So I guess this issue can be closed - your constant support always very much appreciated. One thing that hasn't really changed for me, in terms of UI design : While confirming yes/no to suggested faces and names, there is a button at the bottom which is 'Load more...', which is fine. But I haven't grasped how to find out how long the complete list will be / how many more faces/names will have to be confirmed until the list is empty. A total amount of items in the list of tab 'Unnamed faces' would be nice, just to know if it'll be 50 or 5000 entries to confirm suggested names for faces. The basic 'paging' UI pattern (Page 1 of 10 / 20 items per page) would also work here I think - unless technical reasons prohibit. Thanks Daria!
