lintujuh Posted December 21, 2021 Report Share Posted December 21, 2021 I had to reinstall Daminion, as my PC crashed and I had to reinstall Windows. I have my images on a NAS, so I had to create a separate Daminion Server Service account that matches the one on my NAS. The instructions in How To Configure Daminion Server Service that is in the installation zip-package don't say that the service account needs to have administrator privilege on the local machine. It took me some time to figure out, why my shared catalog was not visible and I got strange errors about port 8082 refusing connection. So if you are getting strange network errors, check the privileges of the local Daminion Server account. @Daria Kotilainen I this should be added into the instructions, or is it somewhere else and I just didn't find it?
