curio77 Posted May 31, 2021 Report Share Posted May 31, 2021 With Daminion standalone v7.0.0.2457 (and the v7.0 build I had before that), I don't get the completion/suggestions drop-down dialog when typing into the keywords and people fields. UKobza Posted June 2, 2021 Report Share Posted June 2, 2021 Das Problem ist wieder da. Mit der Version 2444 oder 2445 hat das wohl funktioniert; jetzt aber, mit 2457 ist es wieder da. Bei Personen und Stichwörtern wird kein Vorschlag angezeigt. Auch das nachträgliche taggen von GPS-Daten wird zum Fluch. Immer wieder will das Programm bei gedrückter Maustaste die daneben liegenden Bilder mit in die Auswahl nehmen. Manchmal klappt dann das taggen nach dem 10. Versuch, manchmal auch erst nach einer mehrstündigen Pause ... Ich glaube ich sollte doch mal nach Alternativen schauen 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Ich hatte noch zwei weitere Meldungen aus dem Programm heraus geschrieben und auch von da KEINE REAKTION ! Ist irgendwie ärgerlich (für mich) und irgendwie armselig (von Euch !). Mehr als zwei Wochen warten auf Support, bzw. Well, I should have stayed with version 5.8 then and not bought version 7 today. I am considering a refund if this bug is not fixed in the next few days. Der Fehler betrifft alle Standalone-Versionen, egal ob bezahlt oder kostenlos. Daminion Server und Daminion Standalone verwenden unterschiedliche Datenbanktypen, daher wird ein Fehler in der Standalone-Version nicht zwangsläufig die gleiche Funktionalität der Server-Version betreffen. Wenn Sie bereits Daminion Standalone gekauft haben, können wir Ihnen helfen, auf Daminion Home Server umzusteigen, der, abgesehen davon, dass er diesen Fehler nicht hat, eine bessere Leistung und Geschwindigkeit beim Importieren und Markieren hat. Datenbankstrukturen zu verwenden, was also heisst ihr macht Euch doppelte Arbeit ? Mit dem Umstieg von Standalone zu Server krieg ich dann weitere Probleme die ich momentan nicht habe ? Anfrage: Ich schicke Euch meinen Katalog der Standalone-Version und Ihr portiert ihn zum Katalog der Serverversion ? Kann ich dann zuerst mal testen ob das funktioniert ? I've read there is a way to import catalog files directly into Daminion Home Server now. Does that actually import the database or does it still re-import all of the files? The original files will not be imported into the catalog, though the thumbs will be regenerated. All in all, the import will take as much time as with the standard import. Apparition Posted December 6, 2021 Report Share Posted December 6, 2021 So long as the metadata transfers over, that should be fine. I was just worried I would have to re-do a bunch of things. The server would be running on the same PC I'm currently using Standalone on, so the file paths can stay the same and thumbnail regeneration isn't a big problem for me.
