2010 - UNC - folder path saved as flat text in Tag

hello,

is there any option to save e.g. the folder path "\\ServerName\Test\TestCatalog" as a flat text value of a Tag, e.g. a Custom Tag "ABC", format "text"?

At the moment it is converted to:

ABC
      ServerName
            Test
                  TestCatalog

and not to ABC->"\\ServerName\Test\TestCatalog"

Hi Uwe,

 

what tag would you like to save it to? You can do this only in the long text tags. Try to create a custom tag and not to check any of the parameters to display it in the properties panel only. Or just do not check the hierarchical parameter

I thought that the quotation marks "define" the included notation as flat text string independend on the "long text tag" format or "hierachy structured tag" format of the destination tag.

I will clarify with the guys, but better please create a long text tag without hierarchy and use it for the UNC paths.
