that would even be a good solution for non Windows Users and Users of Windows Súrface devices.

 

With this we could expand the user group dramatically and for the IT departments, there is a plus as well. they do not have to update every machine just the server

Piwigo seems to be the big name in this sector. Why did you like Lychee more?

 

Both seem to require WAMP/LAMP or something similar to host it.

 

Sure would be amazing if Daminion software could be a client to www.daminion.com/russell/ and all my photos could be shared there, on demand from my computer. :-)

Hello Russel,

I found this by accident and installed it on my Windows Server 2012 r2 running IIS8 and it worked great, didn't test much though, since this is my company server. just wanted a try.

we should not forget that Daminion is/should be more than a photo management tool.

Photos are just a subset of the files I manage.
