rene
Hello Murat, I found a pretty good solution for webbased photo management. Maybe, a good solutions to bring Daminion to MAC and mobile Platforms: http://lychee.electerious.com/ regards René!
rene
maybe you could use this impression to build an online version of the catalogs etc.
Russell
Thank you Rene... Looking into this and liking it so far. :-) Russell
rene
that would even be a good solution for non Windows Users and Users of Windows Súrface devices. With this we could expand the user group dramatically and for the IT departments, there is a plus as well. they do not have to update every machine just the server
Russell
Rene, Piwigo seems to be the big name in this sector. Why did you like Lychee more? Both seem to require WAMP/LAMP or something similar to host it. Sure would be amazing if Daminion software could be a client to www.daminion.com/russell/ and all my photos could be shared there, on demand from my computer. :-) Thanks, Russell
rene
Hello Russel, I found this by accident and installed it on my Windows Server 2012 r2 running IIS8 and it worked great, didn't test much though, since this is my company server. just wanted a try. Uwe
Hello, we should not forget that Daminion is/should be more than a photo management tool. Photos are just a subset of the files I manage. Regards, Uwe
rene
Hello Uwe, offcourse, but this could be a nice addition to what Daminion is capapble of and why not making others files availbale through that as well?
