fhahn
I am interested in Daminion Server for home use. I would be looking at two licenses. One for myself and one for my wife. What restrictions are there in this scenario? Can we both be working on the database at the same time? Or can one view while the other makes changes? Or is the second user locked out altogether? Is there a limit to the number of files (pictures, video, documents) in the home version like the stand alone version of Daminion? Thanks. Murat
I am interested in Daminion Server for home use. I would be looking at two licenses. One for myself and one for my wife. What restrictions are there in this scenario? Restrictions of the Home Server version in comparison to the Team Server license: - You can use it for non-commercial usage only - Can not be used by companies - No user management and you can't protect an access to the catalog by User Roles Restriction of the Home Server in comparison to the standalone version - Only one shared catalog can be created (will be available in the Daminion 3.5 version) Can we both be working on the database at the same time? Or can one view while the other makes changes? Or is the second user locked out altogether? Yep. You can both work with the same database (the shared catalog) at the same time and see each others changes. Is there a limit to the number of files (pictures, video, documents) in the home version like the stand alone version of Daminion? There is no limitation for a number of files in the Daminion Server versions.

Ray
I would love the user role option also with the smaller instance in the server version!
