Feature Request - multiple geolocations for video files

Hey folks,

 

is it possible to assign multiple tags to a video file?

 

Just take an Video you videotaped on your trip to new york, you will have taped from different locations. Right now you only have one tag fot the whole Video.

I agree. It will be good.

 

But there is a problem - it will be another one new feature, but there is a number of old bugs, that it permanently ignored on forum.

Most of our tags are mapped into the image metadata according to the metadata specifications (EXIF/IPTC/XMP/MWG). The existing metadata specifications don't support storing multiple GPS locations (except GPS place created and GPS place shown).

Okay, but if those video segments will happen, then every segment will have its own tags, so every segment can have that 1 gps location.

Hi,

 

Before to think at several segment video, it would be better to fix and display correctly GPS coordinates in properties panel.

Even in 1034 build, MOV files are not tagged in map, neither GPS coordinates are displayed in properties panel.

 

So, before to implement and think at new features it would be nice (and urgent) to fix those which do not work yet!
