rene
Hey Murat, I got another improvment suggestion. At some point Daminion created a mess with the mutated letters in my Author tag. One tag (the wrong) has about 16000 files and the other one (the right one) has 96000 files. Now I need to mark 5000 of the wrong one and change the Author tag, and I need to repeat that 4 times. So it would be nice to have a solution to just mark both tags and tell Daminon merge from "wrong"tag to "right" tag. Do you understand what I mean? regards René! deanable
Hi Rene If you rename the "wrong" tag with the exact name of the "right" tag, Daminion will merge them.
rene
Hi Rene If you rename the "wrong" tag with the exact name of the "right" tag, Daminion will merge them. Hey Dean, thanks for the answer, but it is not working for me. When I do what you mentioned, I get this error. translation: Author Baum existriert nicht! regards rene
Mammut
Hi, hm, but if you select all images and you click with right button on the author tag in the Catalog Tags tab, there is an option (the 2nd one) to assign that tag to all of the filtered images, not just to that 5000 on the actual page. Regards, mammut Edit: but of course a function to merge two different tags, could be a faster solution.
Uwe
Hey Dean, thanks for the answer, but it is not working for me. When I do what you mentioned, I get this error. translation: Author Baum existriert nicht! regards rene Hi Rene, I get the same error but the action is done. The items are not assigned to the wrong tag after the "rename" Regards, Uwe
rene
Hey Uwe, yeah I recognized this as well, but 49 files where left in the wrong one. So I did this again and everything is okay now.
deanable
Hi guys Yes, you are right. I assumed that if it works for keywords tag-type, it would work for all other tag types too... :|
