rene
I just checked my Daminon and I have the same issue: Some picture made in the same session with the same lens have differnt lens names regards Rene
Murat
Jean-Marie, unfortunately Lens tags is read-only, so you can't change it. The only way to to this via the below listed workaround by editing image lens info: 1. Check the lens that you need to rename so all photos belong to this lens are displayed 2. Select all the photos (Ctrl + A) 3. Write tags to Images (Item > Write Tags to File) 4. Configure ExifTool to edit your lens name (Open with > Define External Tools) 5. Invoke "Item > Read tags from File" 6. Select the empty Lens in the left panel and remove it. You need to know how to work with ExifTool via command line for this. Some picture made in the same session with the same lens have differnt lens names Rene, could you please send me two images that displays different lens (but should be the same). I'll check it. jmlabis
Thanks Murat, 4. Configure ExifTool to edit your lens name (Open with > Define External Tools) 1. I do not have ExifTool in External Tools. How do I add it back ? 2. The raws concerned are distributed in many directories and more than 3.000 entries to rename. Is not it a problem? Thanks,
