Uwe
Hello Murat, you wrote: "User based User Interface customization Now interface settings are stored inside the catalog individually for each user so you can see your customizations by logging in from any computer." This is my UI customizing on PC1 (shared catalog): it appears on PC2 for the same shared catalog, logged in with the same user, in this way: Which settings are saved individually? rene
wouldn't it be possible to store the layout setting in the catalog as well?
Murat
What should happens if you'll switch between catalog tabs? There will be flickering and rebuilding of the layout.
Uwe
Hello, I suggest to have user dependend views that are saved in the database. One has to define different views in the customizing. The result is e.g.: Image_View, Music_View, Document_View, Default_View, Project_Customer_XX_View, etc. Then in the "Menu -> View -> UI_Sets" I can select the view and the layout of the UI and the current catalog is adjusted as defined in the view.
