The item for "synchroniste metadata" is greyed out (see "daminion-sync.png"). Additionally, auto-sync may not be suitable for all workflows, as it can be resource-intensive and may cause performance issues on slower or lower-specification systems. If I remember correctly (but might be wrong), auto-sync was never available for standalone, but it does work fine for me with Home Server 6.8 (2344) and I do not consider it too resource-intensive on my ThinkPad T550 with two SSDs (M.2 and SATA) handling a 257,000+ images.
