How to move previews when migrating?

I am migrating from Daminion Server 5.6 on Windows 8.1 to Daminion Server 7 on Windows 10 Pro.

Catalog's backup-restore is working fine, but seems like no previews transferred. I can select all 180K pictures and run "Update Thumbnails", but it takes days.

Are there any way how to backup-restore previews?

Hello,
I may be wrong but the path to the thumbnails is defined as follows:
The folder for the thumbnails is to be entered in the Admin setting, e.g.
X:\Catalog01\thumbnails.
The table thumbnailstack contains the rest of the path and the file name for the individual thumbnails, e.g. 0\00\abcdefg.dat.
This means that the complete path looks like this:
X:\Catalog01\thumbnails\0\00\abcdefg.dat.
If you now copy all thumbnail folders (i.e. all folders below X:\Catalog01\thumbnails) to a new location, e.g.
Y:\Newcatalog\thumbnails
and enter this path in the admin settings, then the thumbnails should be found again, because the content of the table thumbnailstack has not changed and the path to the individual thumbnails is now called composed:
Y:\Newcatalog\thumbnails\0\00\abcdefg.dat.

You have saved me few days of updating thumbnails 🙂

Shame on me, I've forgot there is a link to thumbnails folder in Admin settings 🙂
