Basic shortcuts in Map window

Hi,

 

It would be nice to have basics short cut in order to Zoom In / Out and also to pan the map from keyboard.

 

May be "+" key to zoom in and then "-" key to zoom out.

and arrows keys to pan up/down/left/right the map.

But the map is provided by Google Maps, so they provide the controls don't they? Mouse wheel to zoom in and out, click, hold and move to pan

In my laptop (without mouse), with Google map I can zoom in / Out and pan the map with keyboard (+, - , up, down, left, right) but not with Daminion.

 

So if google provide controls why not to implement them in Daminion (for users without mouse ;-)

Not correct, Paul . Google provides APIs for application developers and depending on how they use it they have more or less full control over the user interface. I know other software (e.g. RouteConverter) also using the Google API which provides the zoom in the form kalain suggested it.
