lintujuh
Hi! I moved my catalog from a local drive to a NAS and relinked my images to the folder on NAS. I'm referring to it with its IP address 192.168.2.3. The folder path for the relinked images is now \\192.168.2.3.\Multimedia\... When I add new images (either Add or Rescan folders) the new images are added to path \\192.168.2.3\Multimedia\... (no final period at the IP address). This creates now to top level branches in my folder structure in Daminion that are both referring to same place on the NAS. -Juha PS. I don't remember, when I did Relink Folders, did I enter the final period to the IP address or not.

lintujuh
Hi, It worked partially. I could remove the period from the hierarchy, but it was still left in the individual files. I even tried to relink the images to the local hard drive if that could trigger the change, but you can see the result. Also the relinking was over in "no time" and there was no "work-in-progress" dialog visible. -Juha
lintujuh
Hi, Finally I was able to do it. I plugged in an external HDD linked the image folder three there and then relinked the tree back (now without the final period). -Juha
