Issue when dragging a pic to new folder

I am using the standalone version.

 

Grid view with properties panel open

 

I select the image which is top left in the grid

 

I edit the properties and save the changes

 

I drag the image onto a new folder

 

The image disappears from the grid and the next one moves into its place.

 

The information now visible in the properties panel relates to the moved image, not the new one and continues to be so until you select another image

 

It's very unsettling!

Hi Paul,

 

that's right. Daminion shows the properties of the selected image. In this case Daminion remembers the properties of the last selected image. The info can not relate to the new item unless it is selected.

Is it not possible that in situations like that e.g.when an action like dragging an image to a new folder is performed, the system then simply blanks out the properties panel? In other words if NO image is selected NO properties are shown? No information is better than wrong information wouldn't you say?

yes, Paul, you're absolutely right. I've already registed this issue as a minor bug. I believe, our development guys will be able to fix it till the release of the new version.
