atilla
Hello I'm tested Daminion Server over local network From Daminion Client It's worked well, when I tried to test over internet From Daminion Client It's couldn't connection, of course I put port forwarding in my router to server which has Daminion Server installed with default port 8082. Is Daminion Server trial version doesn't support this? Or I need another step
Daria Kotilainen
Hi Atilla! 1. Try to Ping your remote server PC from your client PC. If it's unavailable, please temporarily turn your Firewall off and check again. 2. By default Daminion Server uses two ports for default catalog: 8082 and 8084. Please check that both ports are accessible from your client PC. Daria

rene
I would suggest you to do the following: 1. Create a VPN Gateway in your local network (meanwhile a lot routers support that natively like a AVM Fritzbox) 2. Connect to that VPN Gateway from your remote Computer and open Daminion. 3. Done! I'm doing this myself when in China!
