Is it still necessary to manually uninstall and remove users, services etc., before installing a new version? No. You don't need to manually uninstall users or services. All the necessary steps will be done automatically during the Server upgrade. Server upgrade occurs much faster than the Initial Installation because we miss some steps like installing and configuring PostgreSQL.
