[1130] improvment of tagging

Hello Murat,

as you know during some updates in the past I lost lots of tagged information. Therefore I need to go through every folder again and apply Event, project, author, copyrigght etc.

 

Now my question I would like an option to make a right click on a folder and assign all tags except people, categories, keywords and maybe places. like when I click on multiple images in windows.

 

In Daminion I first have to hit "click here do display..." and that takes a long time, and than error appear.

 

Now the best solution would be to say e.g. I have folders like

 

orderning

-regular

-fake hdr

-hdr

-panorama

digitale

-regular

-hdr

-panorama

sourcedata

-hdr

-panorama

 

now all images in folder ordering and in the subfolder regular get assigned to the Collection "Photoarchiv Family S->digitale->regular" and this could appear in the background.

 

Any Idea if this will be possible?

Hey Uwe,

you mean while importing right?

 

I create a folder inside Daminion, fill the folder by moving the files there on Windows level and than rescan the folder.

 

Is it possible to use this for "Tag Presets"?

Hi Rene,

 

no I mean the function in the menu: Window->Assign Tag Presets

You get the new window and there you can define the tags you have to assign.

this than works for all files right? And not only for those is a special folder
