Uwe Posted December 3, 2014 Report Share Posted December 3, 2014 Hello, all items (except the top item of the group) are not part of the selected items (CTRL-A). That means: the action "Read Tags from File" doesn't work for all items in a group. Tested with GPS data. Only the metadata of the item on top of the group are read and not the metadata of all of the items which belong to the group. Uwe Posted December 21, 2014 Author Report Share Posted December 21, 2014 Hello, 1. The group is collapsed. 2. I assign geo-metadata with GeoSetter to the files. 3. Action Read Tags from File for all items in the folder 4. Only the item on top of the group has the geo data 5. for the item on top of the group there is the marker in the map 6. expand the group 7. Action Read Tags from File for items belonging to the group 8. the single items have the geo data now BUT 9. no marker in the map for the single items which belong to the group 10. one has to ungroup and to refresh the Thumbnail Window to see the marker of the single items in the map now Regards, Uwe Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
