Uwe Posted May 10, 2014 Report Share Posted May 10, 2014 Hello, the file size is not updated when it was changed in an external program. E.g. 1. I open a TIF item in Photoshop (command "V" in Thumbnail View) 2. change from 16bit to 8 bit 3. save the TIF 4. neither "Update Thumbnail", nor "Rescan Folders" or "Read Tags from File" updates the file size even if it is now the half of the previous size and the file was changed by PS. 5.
