Luemmel Posted April 23, 2014 Report Share Posted April 23, 2014 Every time when I try to view a Tiff in fullscreen mode, Daminion takes a very long time untill the picture is rendered (approx. 50 seconds!). Is there any option to speed up this process? Unfortunately TIFF files are opened without a scaling factor like in case of the JPEG files when we can open images with 1/2, 1/4 or 1/8 scale factors. Murat Posted May 16, 2014 Report Share Posted May 16, 2014 The speed of opening large files was was optimized a bit. We also plan to add 4MP offline JPEG previews for large files so instead of rendering the huge 200Mb TIFF file Daminion will quickly load the small JPEG preview with a size that will be enough to display it on the display's resolution (usually 2-4 MP) when "Fit Image" mode will be selected.
