_noel_ Posted November 3, 2013 Report Share Posted November 3, 2013 Hello, Today I noticed, that build 911 has again problems with mutated vowels Workflow: write a keyword with mutated vowels to a NEF, store the NEF and do a "read tags from file" -> keyword is duplicated: one is ok, the other is crippled. See screenshot here, the NEF is here. Daminion config writing metadata is here. JPGs seem to work OK with mutated vowels. Wasn't the problem solved a few builds before ? If I go back to v909 and do a "Read tags from file" with the images, which have scrumbled tags with mutated vowels, then the scrumbled tags disappear. ... so between v909 and v911 this error has creeped into Daminion. Murat Posted December 12, 2013 Report Share Posted December 12, 2013 The problem was existed for RAW images, when tags were written directly into the RAW files itself (without sidecars). Daminion incorrectly interpreted Encoding of the XMP strings in the RAW images during the import. The problem was fixed and a new build will be ready very soon.
