Uwe Posted July 5, 2013 Report Share Posted July 5, 2013 Hello, tested with CR2 and XMP sidecar file, no problem with JPG file. Please test this: 1. Assign Places Tag to a CR2 item 2. the tags are shown in the Properties Panel 3. show all metadata of the item -> the Places Tags are in the XMP sidecar file and there in the XMP metadata chapter 4. Drag the same item to a point in the map 5. The coordinates appear in the Properties Panel, the Places Tags are still there in the Properties Panel 6. show all metadata of the item -> the coordinates are in the XMP sidecar file and there in the XMP metadata chapter but the Places Tags are not anymore in the sidecar file 7.
