xeta Posted May 12, 2013 Report Share Posted May 12, 2013 First of all have to tell you that Daminion is a great Software, I was looking for years now for a replacement of my old photo management. After first tests it seems Daminion is the first which really meets my exptectations. Besides the bsic functions it was really important that my new software can handle maker notes in a right way and this really works now. Nevertheless I have a minor problem, I wanted to import a Text File with Categories and Daminion aborted the process because a Tag with the same name already exists, although I have now categories created till now. xeta Posted May 12, 2013 Author Report Share Posted May 12, 2013 Hi Uwe, Thanks for the reply. I already figured out the problem. The text-file with the categories contained expressions which were already used in the keywords. I deleted these words and afterwadrs I was able to import the file.
