Uwe
Hello, when you create a new Custom Tag you have to enter different information. 1. You can't see all information in the window of the Custom Tags. 2. The standard value should be in the Catalog Window 3. You can enter new values of the Custom Tag in the Properties Window but they are not checked (type and lenght) and the tag in not written into the matadata of the file Additional information: text is not translated Regards, Uwe

Please explain. Quote 3. You can enter new values of the Custom Tag in the Properties Window but they are not checked (type and lenght) Could you please explain this note also? Uwe
Hello, sorry, yes it's the default value - see attachment. Now, after client restart I see the defined default value "12" in the Catalog Tag Window and not "unassigned - Nicht zugewiesen" as you can see in the attached screen shot that was made before the restart. As you can see, you can enter values for the Custom Tag in the Properties Window that are out of the range and other values that have a wrong type. The values are not checked during the input and you don't get any error message regarding the wrong data input. The defined type of the Custom Tag "UN_testtag" is Numeric, the default value = 12 and the highest value of this type seems to be "999999999". The wrong data are not saved in the metadata of the photo. Regards, Uwe
