Hello,
I have made changes to the metadata using an external application (for face recognition). For example, in Daminion I selected all photos in September 2014, expanded the groups and called ‘read tags from file’. So 3001 files should be read in again. Why are only two Media Engine processes active for this? Neither the CPU, the memory nor the network are utilised to the maximum!
regards, Uwe

Reading and writing tags in the client is a synchronous single threaded operation, the number of media processors has no effect on this. There are no plans to improve this process.
