Marcus Posted July 26, 2023 Report Share Posted July 26, 2023 Hi, We did a rescan on a catalogue due to majority of images saying they were offline, however its removed the majority of the images from categories now and put them back into unassigned. is there anyway to undo this as its over 1400 images that would need to be re-categorized again. Daria Kotilainen Posted July 26, 2023 Report Share Posted July 26, 2023 Hi Marcus, The option to "Update tags" must have been selected when you run the rescan - and the categories must have not been synced with the metadata of the files, therefore empty values have been read from the files during the rescan. Do you have backups of the catalog? If so, I will help you restore categories from the backup (at least some of them - depending on when the backup was craeted and how many categories have been assigned to the files in the backup) Kind regards, Daria Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
