Daminion client is not able to render the RAW images from the camera. The import dialog shows them, but the client doesn't.

I replaced the exiftool in the MediaProcessors folder with the latest (both for server and client), but that didn't help. Should I also replace ImageMagick? That looked more complicated with all the dll's in the folder.

@lintujuhHello, send me an example of the files in the email. My ORF files are displayed normally. 

Update:

 I found sample files. This is a new camera, maybe the manufacturer has changed something in the orf format

The processing of raw files is hardwired into the code, so you can't just add support. What you see in the import window are thumbnails from Explorer, most likely third-party software shows them.

You can generate a thumbnail file with libraw. bin.zip  

 

But each file will have a thumbnail file.

 

And don't forget to update the thumbnails.

I will live without the thumbnails until there is support. Creating the thumbs is an extra step in the workflow.

Any schedule on the native support? I think the new OM-5 camera has also the same RAW format.

Hello. I think this will be fixed with the new media processor. It will be in the next update 8.2+ .As soon as the test build is ready, I will check the problematic files and report the result.
