Hello!

We would like to use AD Group Mapping to log on to daminion Web-Access. For Reasons we can't find out, it does not work out. AD User Mapping works fine. since our userbase is increasing, we would love to use the group setting...

The error message we receive is

The Username and password you entered don't match

best regards,

Martin

Hi Martin, could you please tell me your version of Daminion? Please let me also know how you are trying to log in? Did you try to use username@fulldomain?

Kind regards,

Daria

Hi Daria,

thanks for your fast reply!

Our Server Version is 5.8.0.1765

I tried username@FQDN , username@domainalias , netbios\username.

the strange thing is, that with AD-Usermapping, all three of those options work, with group-mapping none.I tried both groups inside of groups (like domain-users inside of daminion-editors) and individual users inside of groups.

best regards,

Martin

Hi Martin,

My colleague Sedat will contact you soon with the new build, seems the issue is version related.

Apologies for the inconveniences!

Kind regards,

Daria
