Hello, I would like to install Daminion Server on a Windows Rootserver like this one:

add about 300 000 photos via the client application or webinterface,

 

and have a dozen people access it via the webinterface.

 

 

Is this a viable solution or should I look out for something else?

Yes, this solution will work. We do have several users who host Daminion Server on the web server instead of the local server and access it via Desktop and Web clients. We ourselves host our demo server on Hetzner :)
