Kit Posted November 19, 2016 Report Share Posted November 19, 2016 So... I have the standalone version, and I selected it after evaluating a number of photo management apps. The feature I most liked was that it appeared to allow for adding multiple tags and other types of metadata to photos, and would actually store the extra metadata with the photos, not just in the app's database. But... I haven't been able to figure out how to make it work. I can add the metadata (using existing fields), and see it when I look within Daminion, but when I export the photos and check the metadata in other apps (e.g., Photoshop, Windows properties, Windows photo viewer), the fields are empty. Am I just not seeing a toggle or something? The specific fields I've tested are the various Location fields, Tags, title, description and categories. Thanks so much for any tips and help!
