Uwe
Hello, I have a problem to use TIF files exported by Daminion in Autopano Giga to stitch the panorama. Here a screenshot: Gruppe 0: TIF files created by Adobe RAW converter Gruppe 1: JPG files created by Adobe RAW converter Gruppe 2: TIF files created by Daminion export to TIF original with all metadata Gruppe 3: JPG files created by Daminion export to JPG original with all metadata As you can see Autopano Giaga doesn't find EXIF information in the TIF of "Gruppe 2", even if they are in the files (tested with ExifToolGUI) and also Daminion shows the metadata in the Properties Panel. But something must be wrong or different to the RAW converter with the TIF files created by Daminion. Then I created the panoramas for each group and as you can see Autopano Giga can't create a pano using the TIF files of "Gruppe 2". There will be the file "Panorama.rar" with all files (DNG, TIF, JPG) in the FTP folder tomorrow. Regards, Uwe
Murat
It seems Autopano giaga uses some metadata fields that are missed in the exporting TIFF files. However I want to notice that it doesn't make a sense to export DNG to TIFF by Daminion. Daminion uses built-in JPEG files when exporting or previewing camera RAW images. So in fact JPEG preview will be converted to TIFF file when exporting DNG to TIF. And the resulted TIFFs will be much larger and with the same quality as built-in JPEG previews. So it make sense to export your DNG to JPEG by Daminion. Or use a RAW editor for exporting RAWs to TIFFs
Uwe
Hi Murat, thank you for the answer and you are right. One has to convert by a RAW converter to keep the quality of the source files. I've tested now the command line option of RawTherapee using the "Open with" function of Daminion to convert DNG to TIF. No problems for Autopano Giga with the TIF files. Regards, Uwe
Murat
We updated our image library in the latest 1409 build. Can you check the issue with this update?
Uwe
Hello Murat, unfortunately it's the same in build 1409. The problem for Autopano Giga seems to be the focal length and the date. In the archiv I sent to you by FTP yesterday there are the different TIF, JPG and the DNG file. Regards, Uwe

Uwe
Hello, I made a post on the Autopano forum (http://www.kolor.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=31020). This was the answer: Hello Uwe, So, Daminion moves (or deletes?) some of the EXIF information. As a result, Autopano is not able to find them where these information are meant to be. There's nothing we can do here, unfortunately. Olivier Regards, Uwe
Murat
I registered on their forum and asked about metadata fields that their program use in order to compose panoramas.
